An Update on CG Wax and COVID-19

An Update on CG Wax and COVID-19

I’ve been getting asked quite a bit lately if I’ll remain open with so many cases in San Antonio. My short answer is yes.

You may be wondering why I closed voluntarily in March, but not now with the numbers in the thousands. Then, I honestly wasn’t sure if I’d be able to secure PPE, like masks and gloves, and also be able to find my same products I use for every day sanitation, such as Barbicide and isopropyl alcohol. I needed to shut down to ensure I could offer services in a safe manner.

Now, I’ve got PPE and everything I need, and I feel very confident in the safety I can offer all my guests in my private studio. As long as I’m able to keep these items in stock, I will remain open until it is mandated otherwise.

Some of you may have also noticed my new schedule, which offers fewer hours. I’m sad to say that Friday through Sunday will still be my schedule for now. School was supposed to begin August 12 for my oldest two kids, but now it seems as though the first few weeks will be virtual. I am going to try to find help for a few weekdays so that I will be able to get more days on there for you guys. I’m doing everything I can to figure this out, but it’s all compounded by the fact that I am closing on a new house next week, and my life is slightly insane right now.

I’m not offering facials right now, but when the numbers go back down to a lower figure, I’ll consider adding them back on at that point. If you need help with your regimen at home though, do not hesitate to ask me. I can make suggestions for you.

Thanks for reading, my friends. Hopefully we can keep chugging along and stay open. If anything changes I will make announcements via email and social media.
